Thomas Hickey Obituary
Born in Santa Barbara, CA., and raised in Auburndale, MA., he was a son of the late Catherine A. (Smith) and Thomas F. Hickey, of Auburndale and Antrim.
He is survived by his beloved longtime companion Joyce C. Hill of Hillsborough, NH. Devoted father of Thomas B. Hickey Jr. and his wife Elissa of Sherborn, MA., Christine Ordway and her husband, David, of Natick, MA., Colleen
Hyland of Marlborough, MA., and the late Michael Hickey and his surviving fiancé Erika Boucher of Framingham, MA. He was the loving grandfather of Lauren Ordway of Clovis, CA., Thomas and Kevin Ordway of Natick MA., and Sean Michael Hyland of Marlborough, MA. Brother of Edward C. Hickey and his wife, Linda, of Billerica, MA., Catherine M. Hickey (Grant) and her husband Gordon of Falcon CO, Linda M. (Hickey) Gaffey and her husband Jack of Wilmington, MA., and Shaun D. Hickey and his wife, Carol, of Weare, N.H. Thomas is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was the former husband of Susan M. (McCarthy) Hickey.
Thomas wheeled and dealed cars his whole life. He was the former co-owner of Prospect Auto Sales in Waltham, MA. He was a buyer for many years at Toyota Volvo of Keene NH, until illness forced his retirement. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman and was a passionate hunter. The family wishes to thank Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, N.H., for their compassionate care in Thomas' final days.
Immediate services are private due to COVID restrictions. A celebration of Thomas' life is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation,
