Yvette Laplante Obituary
Born in Salmon Falls, Rochester, Yvette was the daughter of Marie (Michaud) Roberge and her husband Albert. A lifelong resident of Manchester, Yvette was well known in the community. No matter where she traveled, she always saw someone she knew.
In her earlier years, she worked for Howdy Beef Burger, Dunkin' Donuts, and Standard Fruit. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club in Manchester. Prior to retirement, which she enjoyed immensely, Yvette had been employed by Velcro USA for 25 plus years.
A dedicated mother, she devoted her life to her children and was proud of each of their accomplishments. She will be best remembered for her generous and friendly spirit. Yvette will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her six children, Cheryl Laplante Benjamin and husband Royd of Manchester, Donald LaPlante and wife Kathy of Wichita Falls, Texas, Donna Laplante Carey and husband Bruce of Calgary, Canada, Brenda McMahon and husband George of Manchester, Kathleen Laplante of Hudson, Mass., and Gregory Laplante and wife Gail of Calimesa, Calif.; her eight grandchildren, Corey, Corrin, Sean, Nikki, Kyle, Kegan, Alden, and Becca; her sister, Rachel Gosselin and husband Paul of Londonderry; her dear cousin and close friend, Therese Leclerc of Manchester, many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. with a memorial service at 4 p.m. Friends and relatives invited. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Yvette's memory to the Boys and Girls Club, 555 Union St., Manchester, 03104. My sincere sympathies in the lost of your Mom. I knew her for many years. She was a true friend to every one she met in her life. I'm glad I had that privilege along with the fond memories I have of her. RIP Yvette
