My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I was a student at UCA and a friend of Sylvia's. I think about her often and our antics in High School. My mind still sees her clearly and I still laugh. My dad was getting his teaching degree at Utica College and took several courses from Christiane. He always held her dear and spoke highly of her.

Christiane was such a remarkable person. She was my French teacher when I was a student at Utica College. Later, when she working on her NYS teaching certificate, she was my student teacher at Perry Jr. High in New Hartford. There was no end to her talents and enthusiasm and it was always a pleasure to with her.

Chris was a wonderful neighbor. She and Erwin were there to help us many times over the years. And, she knew I liked rhubarb so she shared hers with me. We now have some growing in our garden and will always think of her. We will miss her.
