Reginald,

We thought of you today;
But that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday;
And will tomorrow too.
We think of you in silence;
And make no outward show.
For what it meant to lose you;
Only those who love you know.
Remembering you is easy;
We do it everyday.
It’s the heartache of losing you;
That will never go away.

I Love and Miss You Always,

Aunt Terry

Reginald,

It's been three months since you've been gone. I love you and miss you more each and every day. I want to write this poem for you on behalf of the family:

"Memories"

If we could have a lifetime wish
A dream that would come true,
We'd pray to God with all our hearts
For yesterday and You.
A thousand words can't bring you back
We know because we've tried.
Neither will a thousand tears
We know because we've cried.
You left behind our broken hearts
And happy memories too.
But we never wanted memories
We only wanted you.
It's been three months
We've missed you,
You'll always be our loving Angel.

We love and miss you always,

Your Family

Reginald,

You're constantly on my mind and I miss you very much. I want to let you know the family had a cookout for your birthday on Saturday, 4 June.

I departed Utica headed back home prior to that date, but wish I could have been there. I heard it was a great event in honor of you. A lot of family, friends and others were there. I even heard they released balloons and set-off fireworks too.

Your Mom stated you loved having cookouts to bring the family together at the spur of the moment. You were always a family-oriented, lovable and kind-hearted person.

I'm posting the picture of you and Mama. You loved her and my Mother (Mama Bet) very much. You know you always had a special place in their hearts and mines, as well.

I miss your lovely face, smile, laughter, and the sound of your voice when we would talk on the phone. I can't wait until we're together again. I want you to know I will always love you and cherish your memories forever.

Reginald,

My days hasn't been and will not be the same without you. A senseless, tragic, and unexpected event has taken you away from me and the rest of the family.

I remember our recent telephone conversations. You were always so vibrant, happy and full of life. You were always spending time with your daughters and spoke so proudly of them. I remember how happy you were upon hearing Veronica had her baby. We talked on the phone while you were driving to the hospital. I'll never forget the sound of your smile and the joy in your voice and we never ended our talks without saying "I Love You".

Reginald, my nephew, I will always treasure the memories of you forever and you will always have a special place in my heart.

POOKIE
I was so saddened to hear of this senseless death. I will always remember Reggie coming into Cosmo Head Start with a smile on his face to pick up Tasha with you. Tasha looked up to her big brother so much. He was always smiling. My heart is breaking for you and your family. As you and your mom taught us "I am a promise", I will never forget what that did for our kids, it empowered them. You are a strong woman, great parent and amazing person to know. Keep God close to you always. Much love, Kim Cunningham

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

May 23, 2011

To Reg's parents, siblings, his three daughters and all other family and friends....
Our sincere condolences to the loss of your loved one, it's sad to say good bye to anyone who leaves this earth to soon, but it is extremely heartbreaking to say good bye to one of our own. One who just started his life as an adult with much to look forward too, even though he has left this earth to be with the Lord above doesn't take away the tears and pain from his loved ones eyes therefore, I pray and ask God to give this family all of the strength possible during this horrible time.
My family was happy to have had the opportunity to know him and his crazy, loving personality, Reggie’s smile will forever be a memory in our hearts and one that will never be forgotten!

With deepest sympathy,
The Talerico, Rios, Crawford and Washington Family
