Bonnie Brothers Obituary

Bonnie L. Brothers, 76, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 27, 2021. Bonnie was born in Newport News, VA, and always considered it to be her "home." She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Carl B. Gall, and her stepson, Brett K. Brothers. A beloved wife, mother, sister, niece, aunt, and grandma, Bonnie is survived by her husband, Roger W. Brothers; two sons, M. William McFall, Jr. (Ford) and Jonathan E. McFall (Amy); seven grandchildren, Benjamin B. McFall, William P. McFall, Edward B. McFall, Alexander H. McFall, Ellie P. McFall, Addison L. McFall, and Roger D. Patierno; stepdaughter, Lynne Y. Patierno; step-great-grandchild, Carolynne Patierno; sisters, Margaret Young (Richard), Kathleen Diggs (Charlie), and Martha Nelson (Rick); and aunt, Virginia Gall; along with numerous nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Bonnie was very active in her church and enjoyed working on crafts in her spare time. Her greatest pride and joy were her two sons and grandchildren. They meant the world to her and she would do anything for them. Bonnie will truly be missed by all who knew her. A private funeral will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Williamsburg United Methodist Church followed by a service for friends and family at 3:00 pm at Peninsula Memorial Park, 12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA. Donations may be made in Bonnie's memory to St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis TN. Condolences may be shared at www.nelsenwilliamsburg.com.
