Feliciano Gonzlaez
HARLINGEN,TX.-
Feliciano Gonzalez, 84 passed away on February 8, 2009 in Harlingen, Texas.
He was born in San Benito, Texas on June 7, 1924, the son of Feliciano Gonzalez and Ricarda Benavides Gonzalez, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his three sisters and one brother; Olivia Gonzalez, Herminia Garcia, Julia Cavazos and Viviano Gonzalez.
Mr. Gonzalez served in the United States Navy. In his early years he worked as a migrant farm foreman. He also owned and operated a fruit and vegetable stand/warehouse. Before retiring he worked for a number of years as a truck driver for Canada Dry and Budweiser.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Gonzalez; his children, Emma Chapa, Danny Gonzalez, Abraham Gonzalez, Feliciano Gonzalez, Eunice Guy, Ricarda Maldonado; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held in private.

Mi papa chita, Mi papa dulce. In loving memory of all the Gonzales family. The last time I visited tio Chano I hugged and kissed his forehead, this was on 26th of Nov.2008. Last time I spoke to him, was on the 1st of Feb.2009 he was at the nursing home. "We know we sleep until the lord comes back for 'his bride' us, When he opens the 'Book of life' when he calls our name we will answer 'here I am lord' Because some will suffer here in the flesh, some in the lake of fire"
