Susan was a very loving sister, and we are missing her greatly. I have many fond memories of growing up as kids on the farm, during the late 40s and 1950s. Riding our horse Jewel and doing farm chores, feeding the chickens, shelling field corn to become part of the feed for a few cows and several sheep and lambs. Sledding down the hill beyond the barn during the winter when the snow was good. Catching the school bus on Wolf Creek Pike, and painting the wooden fence in front of the house. Visiting our grandparents, and Uncle Russel and Aunt Lucille, and cousins Russ Jr. and Ed, and our good friends and neighbours, the Royers and Peters, were prominent. In later years, seeing Susan back in Ohio when visiting family, and more recently visiting Susan in Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. Susan did a lot of important and appreciated work on the history of our family, especially the Wenger side. Susan experienced tragedy, but was a resilient person. Susan was a positive person and full of life. May your soul Rest In Peace, dear sister Susan. Reis
