Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Elva, the children and the entire family. Bill was my classmate in the 162nd session of the Border Patrol Academy in Glynco Georgia. We both entered on duty at the Freer Station as trainees and spent many hours working together until 1987. As a trainee, Bill and Elva opened up their home to me and I lived with them until I was able to move my family to Freer four months later. Bill was truly special. For that, I will be forever grateful. Rest in Peace my friend.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. McGhee. I knew him as such, because I was his PT instructor at the Border Patrol Academy and had to address our trainees as such. He was one of my success stories. He was a hard worker and achieved a great goal by graduating from the academy. I last saw him in Harlingen many years ago. May he rest in peace.

We know Bill is in a better place but it feels so unreal. I praise God he lived a full life and we know he was met by Jesus at the pearly gates and greeted with "Well done my good and faithful servant." It is but a short time we will be apart compared to eternity. God bless

Once again I give my condolences to Elva and the entire family. Your father is greatly loved and highly respected. We will never forget him and his devotion to the Lord. He has left a great legacy. My prayer is that you find comfort and peace and carry on the gospel of Christ as he did.
We love you.
