Albert "AKA" Mijo Ca?ez Oxnard, CA
It is with great sadness we announce that our Brother and Uncle, Albert Ca?ez unexpectedly passed away at a young age of 56 on July 24, 2015. Albert (Mijo) was born in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 11, 1958. Albert always found the good in people and was giving. His nieces and nephews were his children.
He worked at Dairy Farmer of America, as a operation tech, and as a casual long shoreman for many years. Al loved to travel, he made friends were ever he went.
He leaves behind sisters, Vangie and Elia, brothers, Arnold, Gus, and Hector. Along with a number of nieces, nephews and countless friends of many years, who will miss your witty sense of humor.
Visitation will be held from 4-9pm on July 30, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad's and James Reardon. 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93033
A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11am at same location.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold T and Loreto Ca?ez

I had met you a few months ago and never knew your real name..only knew you by, "Mijo." You helped me by alerting me when there was work at the docks and you thought my "casual number" was close to getting work. Of all the contacts I had to help me figure out the complex "dispatch tape" at Port Hueneme, you were the most reliable source and I thought you were a very sweet and kind man. You were a rare gem in these troubled times and I will sorely miss you..Go in peace, dear co-worker and friend! I know, I wasn't the only one you helped...Thanks for sharing your sunshine and may God coddle you in his warmth and love!

So sad to say goodbye to a dear friend who I grew up with, we have been friends since childhood and Albert was the kind of person that would do everything he could for you if you needed him. I will miss him. My heart goes out to Gus and the rest of the family. We were all lucky to have called him Mijo!

I worked with him at dfa for about 7 years and had become used to see him in the break room and talk to him about places he's gone to now I won't see him any more he will be missed greatly
