Hector, I am sorry, i wasn't there for you, i just found out what happened. Thoughts of you have been running thru my mind the last few months, wanting to get together, but couldn't seem to find the time, I had wanted to go cruising together again with the guys. I remember being at the family house on Simon Way, back in the day and us cleaning our rims, charging our batteries and washing our cars, beer on ice, getting ready to go to the park, Alma,Sylvia and your mom doing chores in and out of the garage, while Your Pop was working in his flower beds. I would pull up, and then Tommy, George, Roger, Ruben, would all pull up, cars shining and music jamming. It's funny how the future unfolds, we were on the way to the park to see friends, and one of those friends was Veronica, i knew you loved her from the first time you saw her, you always got excited anytime she came around, at
Ray's house. Whenever I see a 1964 SS, i always compare it to yours, it was the bomb.... As usual we get caught up in our personal lives, and we can't find the time to stay close, but you were one of my closest friends, my thoughts and prayers, go out to the Estrada Family, & Veronica, Nothing I say can take away the hurt that you feel now, but never forget the memories, our lives may be too busy at times, but the memories will last forever, Hector making his basketball moves at Steve's house, his laughter,as he would cover his mouth, and give that sly grin, and his uncanny way he always remembered the girl's names, and where they were from, as we cruised the parks,or on our way to cruise Cooper, and later years Saviers. I will always think of you my friend, and God willing our friends will get to cruise again together, and you and Ruben will be there with me again (you and Ruben arguing over who gets shotgun) cruising and laughing and having fun. I will never forget you Hector my friend, We have lost so many in the past years, but i know you are all together, capping on me from above and someday i will be there with you, arguing over who gets shotgun..... Your Friend Daniel Coker

My thoughts and prayers are with the Estrada family. I worked with Hector for about 8 years. He was very dedicated to work and was always there to help anyone that might need it, without hesitation. I will always remember him going out and finding a new pack of chewing gum,(Topps brand I believe) to add new baseball cards to his collection. He will be missed very much.

I hired Hector at Taylor's Fluid power and worked with him for several years. Hector was the strong, quiet type, and he always treated me with respect. He was always a good worker and customers also appreciated his service. May God bless the Estrada family and friends who will surely miss Hector. May Hector rest in peace. May each of you feel God's peace and comfort.

Nino,
Not a day goes by when you're not on my mind, its hard to get through the day without you by my side. Its soo hard with you not around but i know your in heaven smiling down. Your watching us all while we pray for you.I know you will be proud of me once I finish school and everything; although, i would've loved to have you there to watch me get my diploma but you are always with me in my heart and I am thankful for that. You were such a father figure to me and i am going to miss you dearly. The memories we shared will never fade away, it seems like just yesterday you baptized me and now everytime I walk through the living room and your not there I start to hurt inside and shed tears because I miss you soo much and I wish I can turn back the hands of time to see you again but im going to stay strong because I know you wanted me to be a strong girl in life and i will pursue that dream not only for myself but for you. I know your still living the life after death, you didnt deserve to go because you were such a good person and were always so caring, everyone loved you. Every day that passes is a step closer I get to seeing you again and I cant wait but until then you are always in my prayers and most importantly in my heart. I Love You Nino & I will always will.
Love,
Your Goddaughter Stephanie

Hector we are all going to miss you dearly. You mean the workld to us. Your wife Veronica misses you every minute that passes by. We stand outside and just wait to see your car turn that corner. It's such a trip all the small things that we did with eachother, but now they mean so much. That's how we remember you now. Your son Manuel still remembers that one day in the lowrider. Even though you're grandson Manuel Jr. didn't know you very long we will forever talk to him about his "Papa Hector". You had a completly different life with us. And we're gonna miss you so much!!! We Love You Hector!!!
Love Always,
Your Daughter-In-Law
