She valued individuality and creativity, which she encouraged in her five children, which is an important part of the foundation of their lives today. In her own life she was honored with many awards for her artistic expression in the world of quilting, both locally and nationally. She was active in several quilting clubs and exhibited her work at the Ventura County Fair, Ojai Quilt show, and in several other statesDuring their retired life together, with her now deceased husband, Bill, they enjoyed their second home in Baja California. Being near the desert and the Sea of Cortez was their delight and she especially enjoyed the sense of community and the many friends that lived nearby.
She was always a gracious entertainer, a fabulous cook and maintained a beautiful home. Although home was central to her life she loved to travel worldwide.

My aunt Peg Hall was a beautiful and generous lady. I spent one summer with her and her family in 1968. Cousin Bill and I had a great time that summer and aunt Peg made the visit memorable. We roamed around Mulholland, Ventura and Northridge in the summer of '68 listening to the Doors, Cream, Deep Purple and others. Aunt Peg was a terrific host and she will be sorely missed.

She was not just my aunt but truly an artist. Aunt Peg shared her love of quilting with me as a young girl. She showed me how important "Art" is in life and how to "see" it. Aunt Peg was pretty "cool" like that. I loved that she spoke to me.
