Patsy passed away at Cypress Place Assisted Living in Ventura from complications of Alzheimer's on Oct. 20, 2011.
Patsy was born on April 30, 1933, in Paso Robles, Calif., to Edgar and Josephine Walton. After graduating from Ventura High School, she married Joseph (Jack) Baughman. They spent their first years in Los Angeles and then moved to Oxnard where they raised four sons. They were together 35 years until Jacks passing in 1986. She was such a wonderful mother in law. she and i had many wonderful times shopping. we would buy a whole bunch of different outfits, all caught up in the moment. after we would get back while going through our good finds we would both change our minds about some of our purchases...sooo shopping trip #2 returns! we seemed.to do this several times. i truly have missed those times through the years living so far away. i also remember her visit to see us for christmas. she hadn't seen it snow before and alaska gave her quite the show. big fluffy flakes and grandma and girls laying in the snow making snow angels. rest in peace mom love you and will miss you much.

Patsy and I worked together at FAD before it became Alpha Beta. We were also neighbors. We shared some really fun times together, our trip to Catalina (in a small plane, I almost fell out of) and our everyday funnies at work. She was a very special soul. I lost touch with her but, we had friends in common and I kept up with her that way. I called her a few years back and she didn't recognize me but, we did talk for awhile. I loved all her boys and missed them dearly when we moved to Ventura. I am sure they will remember me and my boys. Gavin, Paul and myself, Sheri Skill. If anyone would like to contact me please do so @ [email protected] . I would love to hear from you. May Patsy rest in peace and God be with you at this time of great loss.
