My dear Mother,
Every year on this day, July 23rd,
Dad´s birthday, I experience an overwhelming feeling of love and a great respect for my parents. This day was special to you before your children had birthdays. Through the years you and dad made it work!
Love is everything!
Not a day goes by that my family is not first and foremost on my mind. Those living and who are no longer. It has been many, many years without any communications between my siblings and I. Not what I hoped for!
"You told me there´d be days like this, strange day indeed, most peculiar mama"
LOVE
Your grateful son, Gary
P.S. Each year, I enjoy Dad´s favorite ice cold refreshment in his memory

I celebrate you not just on Mother´s Day, but every day!
I cherish your lifetime and my fond memories of the warmth and love you poured over our family.
A mother is a treasure that is heaven sent. I feel so lucky every day, that you were my mom.

Me: (when I'd call home from the road)
*BREAKER* *BREAKER* *BREAKER*
this here is... •Lefty•Pearl•
•Home•Base•Mama•. do you have your ears on?
Mom:
Oh yes, I sure do honey
Every day when I am thinking of you, I recite those words as we did every day when I would call you.
Mom, yesterday was Mother's Day and I was rolling my 18 wheels East bound in route to Illinois.
I had such a wonderful day with you as my Co-driver (in spirit) We spent the miles singing all of your favorite songs, just as we did when we would sit outside in the sunshine when I was home
We had so much fun and joy in our hearts ♥ ❤
Mom, please thank God for me... FOR YOU!
Love, your son and His child

Some of our favorite times together were when we would sit outside in the sunshine and bask in it's warm embrace. We would talk about everything from life and death, love and family to my experiences on the road. Other times we would just sit quietly and listen to the birds.
You had always hoped and prayed that when the day comes that God calls you home, you would see again the loved ones who passed before you. We both believed in this. I had always hoped that you could and would send me a signal of some kind that all is well and that our faith in God and His promise is true in all it's Glory. Mom, I have received many signs from you that assure me of Heaven and it makes me tingle from head to toe!
On this Mother's Day, your presence is so very strong in my heart, I couldn't be more joyful
I love you more!

Today is Mother's Day
Mom, I awoke this morning knowing you would not want me to be sad. I cannot convey enough, how blessed I am to have been born your son! How proud I am, as your son, to have had you as my mother! You have always said that you knew my heart, and you knew it was in the right place. How you knew I was a good man with compassion and I cared about people. These are ideals and traits that I learned from you (and dad) no question about it!
I celebrate your life every single day!
Until we see each other again... my love eternal ❤
Your son, Gary

This day, April 6th, is a very special day! It is the day you were born. I am so very blessed to have been your son and to have you as my mother. I spent time with you today at your eternal resting place (Dad was with us too. And Danny too) I prayed! I cried! I felt so loved! I left for you, beautiful yellow roses. Yellow being your favorite color, I know you'd be pleased. I love you mom and dad...ALWAYS AND FOREVER!

I quoted one of your signature sayings on Sunday 11/19 (which could always be followed up with a sigh of relief) "Thank the Lord for small favors"
I received a very sorrowful phone call informing me of something that immediately made me think...
"Oh no, good God, how am I going to tell my mom?
But, thank the Lord for small favors, you were aware before we were Mom, give Danny a hug for me and that way he will be hugging you back for me also
Until next time, or perhaps before then. Only God knows and he ain't telling. xoxo

Mom, when I said "I love you more" I didn't mean that I loved you more than you loved me. I meant that I loved you more than the bad days ahead of us, I love you more than any fight we might ever have. I love you more than the distance between
us. I love you more than any obstacle that could try and come between us.
I love you, mom, the most!

Although we've only met a few times, I feel I've known much longer. Gary has spoken highly of you and shared some of the time you both shared together. The memory that will always be foremost in my memory the time the two of you spent talking at the kitchen table. My thoughts go out to your family. Sincerely Sharon

Mom, It is 0100 hrs on June 2nd ~ I am laying awake in bed looking at pictures of you. When I see your smiling face and your kind and loving eyes, I beam with such pride, and I feel a great appreciation in that I had been blessed by God to have as my mother, the most loving, caring and generous woman a child could possibly have. Everyone who has met my mother, can and has said sincerely, "Pearl is such a kind and caring lady with such a big heart and a generocity (as family) for anyone who entered her home. I would like to say to all who read these words, all who love you as much as do, I
My mother (your friend) Pearl, was to me, in mind and spirit, the strongest woman I've ever met!
I will give thanks and praise to our Father in Heaven each day I wake For I am who I am because of you, the beautiful woman with a heart of gold that I was blessed to have had as my friend and mother!
I will be with you today mom. I will cry.. but they will be tears of gratitude and appreciation for you.
You will be alive in my heart, in my mind, in my spirit and I will celebrate you until my last day, when I too, am called away.
My love eternal,
your son, Gary
