On December 14, 2020, Ray peacefully joined our Lord. Born on September 24, 1931 in Indio, Ca. His parents were Father Ygnacio and Mother Librada Pizano. He was married to Mary Villarreal for 44 years when the Lord took her in his arms. He loved his wife throughout his life and the love was mutual. Ray's family included Brothers Manual, Johnny, Rudy, Marcello and Sister Louise Acosta who have all joined our Lord, with his surviving brother Tony.

His last job worked was for RIC Insurance Company as a Print Shop manager until retirement. Prior to this employment, worked as a certified auto mechanic.

He was a devout Catholic who worshiped at St. Anthony's Church for many years. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels for several years. Participated in a weekly St. Anthony's Church worship group. In Ray's younger years trained as a boxer. It was always fun to watch him shadow box. Served in the Army with an Honorable Discharge.

His favorite time was family gatherings. He was never short of a smile or greetings for family, friends or strangers. He shared many interesting childhood stories and more. He loved listening to all genres of music, especially classics like Sinatra's 'Fly me to the Moon'. Loved singing when he was happy or requests from our Mom 'Sing me'.

He enjoyed playing pool, watching sports such as boxing, football, basketball and baseball.

Ray touched so many lives. His memory will go on forever. We will truly miss him and remember the lessons he taught us. He had many friends, very easy going attitude.

A very special thanks to Dorie Ponio a long time friend, Ericka Fernandez and Oxnard Manor for all their caring support and friendship.

I only met your father once, for your mothers funeral services. He was very friendly and welcoming to me. But knowing Gina & Terry and their beautiful personality gives me a good idea of what Ray was like. I am so sorry for your loss, may your father Rest In Peace and my deepest condolences to all the Pizano family. Much love to you all, Aunt Yolanda Villarreal

We all have great memories of your Dad when we used to visit him and Aunt Mary in Oxnard and then their other homes. We loved his stories, his smile, his love of teasing us girls cause we rooted for the Dodgers and he loved his Giants. His love of cars and how he wanted to drive our friends Trans Am! Most of all his love and respect for our dear Aunt Mary. Together again ❤
