Sanford Ray Ferguson Sr., known fondly as "Sandy" to friends and family passed away peacefully at home February 13, 2017 at the age of 75. Sandy was the second child of four born to Joseph H. and Ella Mae Ferguson on October 4, 1941 in Clymer, PA. surviving siblings are Donald (Jo Anne) of WA, Patricia of TX, and Barbara (Daniel) of OH.

Sandy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mariola "Mary" of Oxnard, sons Sanford R. Ferguson Jr., Thomas M. (Melissa) of Horn Lake, MS. His beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved to the moon and back.

After high school Sandy joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Little did he know that the corps would influence the rest of his life.
