Funeral services for Chad Hornback, 49, of Gore, were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian. Burial followed at White Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Hornback was born on Sept. 4, 1975, in Muskogee, to Donna (Jones) Thomason and Clinton Dewayne Hornback. He passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Vian.
He was a motorcycle mechanic for Dave Freely. He embraced the open road with excitement and joy while riding his motorcycle with his soulmate, Rachel.  
Survivors are a daughter, McKenzie Hornback of Gore; three sons, Waylon Hornback of Webbers Falls, Colton Spears of Blackgum and A.J. Allen and Lizzy of Atoka; mother and step-father, Donna and James Thomason of Webbers Falls; father, Clinton Hornback of Gore; three sisters, Angela Hornback of Webbers Falls, Ashley Brady of Vian and Jennifer Brady of Gore; one brother, C. J. and Brittany Hornback of Braggs; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving soulmate, Rachel; and grandparents, Clinton and Pat Hornback and Bill and Wilma Jones.
Pallbearers were C. J. Hornback, Waylon Hornback, Rickey Crawford, Sean Moore, Jerry Frost and Rickey Owens.
Honorary pallbearers were Dan Rolston, Dave Freely, Rick Crawford.
