John Harold Sandridge

JOHN HAROLD SANDRIDGE 9/22/1984 - 3/23/2014 John Harold Sandridge, resident of Barstow, CA. John will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times. Unfortunately, this time the pain was too difficult, and John died by his own hand on March 23, 2014 in Barstow. John was born in Nashville, TN on September 22, 1984. John loved working on engines and graduated from UTI as a diesel mechanic. His garage was his second home and thrived when working and rebuilding cars, trucks, quads, anything with an engine. He loved spending time with his kids exploring the desert. He leaves behind many family and friends including his wife, Michelle; daughter, Isabelle; son, Garrett; mother and father, Diana and Johnny Sandridge; mother and father-in-law, Louise and Mike Miller; sister and brother-in-law, April and Joe Dillow; half-brother and half-sisters Jesse, Kina, Tina, and Alexis of TN; brother-in-law, John; grandparents, Fred and Meda Sandridge; Ed and Brenda Hanna of TX, and Kitty Kirkland of TN; uncles and aunts, David and Diane of FL, Harold and Barb of PA, and Daniel of PA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was a wonderful friend who was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth "Meko" Denue and maternal great-grandmother, Blanche Hanna. A memorial service will be held March 29 at 10 AM at First Baptist Church, 1320 Barstow Road in Barstow. Casual attire is encouraged. Donations can be made to a memorial fund for Isabelle and Garrett at the church.
