Lyndol K. Rabbe, 87, of Robinson went to be with his Lord Mon., Jan. 25, 2021. A graveside service will be 2 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 28, at Robinson Cemetery, 620 E Stegall Rd. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wed., Jan. 27, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive.

Lyndol was born Oct. 7, 1933, to Earnest and Clara Rabbe in his maternal grandparents' farmhouse in Coryell City, TX. He was a 1952 graduate of Waco High School where he was a paper boy all through school. In 1953, he was hired to work in the printing department full time at the Waco Tribune Herald. He retired after 42 years as a Production Duty Officer and truly loved every year. He married Corrine Dansby in 1955 and shared 65 wonderful years together and raised a son, Brad, and daughter, Brenda. Lyndol has been a member of First Lutheran Church of Waco for 78 years.

He and his wife enjoyed a lifetime of riding and caring for their horses with cherished memories of Peppy, Danny, and Moe. They vacationed annually in Colorado for over 30 years, making many friends, and enjoyed hiking in the mountains with Bob and Marlene Blake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Rabbe and Clara Zube; his sister, Ilaverne Rabbe Faulkner and husband, Otis; and nephew, Mark Faulkner.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 65 years, Corrine; son, Brad Rabbe and wife, Sandra; daughter, Brenda Rabbe; grandsons, Jeremy Rabbe and wife, Katie, Clayton Rabbe, Billy Bob Pittman, Dakota Pittman, Dusty Greene, Matthew Sepulveda and wife, Kirstin, and Bradley Sepulveda and wife, Sydney; and great-grandchildren, Holden and Lucille Jane Rabbe; and niece, Robin Faulkner Drennon and family; and nephew, Scott Faulkner.
