Sybil Palmer Obituary

Sybil Jean Wardlaw Palmer, 83, of Robinson, passed away Sunday Oct. 21, 2012, at a local hospital, surrounded by her children. A graveside service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Oakwood Cemetery.

Sybil was born on Aug. 4, 1929, in McCaskill, Ark., where she graduated from high school and then attended business school in Tyler, Texas. She moved to Waco, soon thereafter where she was employed by Levine's and later worked and retired from Management Service for Doctors. Sybil enjoyed reading, enjoyed her pets, and loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Cleo Wardlaw; and a son, Kenneth James Palmer.

Survivors include a brother, James Wardlaw of Longview; daughters, Sherry Erck and husband, Martin, Mary Frosch and husband, David, Helen Raborn and husband, Randy, Melissa Travitz and husband, Dennis, Andrea Grantham and husband, Dwayne; son, Steve Palmer; grandchildren, Renee' Veatch, Travis Erck, Ryan Erck, DC Frosch, Johnny Jackson, Brandy Ward, Paige Palmer, Brittany Romo, Jill Bailey, Lynn Limon, Sue Lawrence, Jonathan Rutherford, Justin Grantham, Trent Grantham, and Kyle Grantham; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew.
