Mary Constance Copple, a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at the age of 73.
She was born May 22, 1951, to Lowell Hanson and Gladys (Nelsen) Hanson, Mary grew up surrounded by love and a deep appreciation for family.
Mary will be remembered for her loving personality, kind spirit and ability to bring joy to those around her. She was a gracious and loving hostess for family gatherings, creating cherished memories with her warmth and generosity. She lived her life with grace and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her cherished sister, Melanie Chatras.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Clayton; children Matthew (Christy) and Joshua (Cassandra); dear sister, Betty (Tom); grandchildren Jocelyn, Tristan, Addison, Mason and Jackson; nephew John; and many extended family members and friends who loved her deeply.
A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held May 24 at 2 p.m. with a one-hour visitation prior, all to be held at Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker. Pastor Bob Ford will officiate.
