ALBERT D. ALBERI
Judge Albert D. Alberi, of Virginia Beach, VA, 60, passed away on September 19, 2004. Albert David Alberi was born in Arlington, VA on August 18, 1944 to Albert and Virginia Alberi. Judge Alberi graduated from Gonzaga High School and Boston College. He served in Viet Nam and received the Bronze Star. He later graduated from the University of Virginia Law School and was a prosecutor in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
The Honorable Albert D. Alberi is survived by his wife of 29 years, Annie; daughter, Ana Marie Riggs and husband, Chip; grandchildren, Travis, Megan, Kelsey, and Nathan Riggs; daughter, Jakie Baker and fiance, Chuck Duncan; daughter, Christine Alberi, and brother, Bob Alberi of McLean, VA; nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Michael and Jessica.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 4 p.m. at Galilee Episcopal Church, 40th Street and Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach, VA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to Parkinson's Foundation, MDA (specifically for ALS), Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or to another charity of your choice
