Alvin Dennis Obituary
On Saturday, August 17, 2002, peacefully at his residence following a long courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Al was a life-long resident of Franconia, VA. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Mary B. Dennis and his father, Alvin E. Dennis, Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene D Dennis who also succumbed to multiple myeloma in 1997. He leaves a host of other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at JEFFERSON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5755 Castelwellan Dr, Alexandria, VA at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 24. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, #3

I have happy memories of warm summer nights out at the brick bbq, citronella candles burning bright, and Al entertaining everyone with his clever guitar repertoire. I will remember Al very fondly. I will say a prayer for you, Mary. And my thoughts are also with Jesse.
