ANGELA PHYLLIS POINTER
Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy J. Pointer; two daughters, Tracy Tate and Amber Tate; five grandchildren, Shantelle Edmondson, Tanisha Tate, Benita Tate, Ashlee Tate and Kennedy McCutcheon; two sisters, Patricia Chatman and Joyce Fuller; two brothers, Anthony Pointer and Rodney Pointer and a host of other relatives and friends. Ms. Pointer will lie in state at The Holy Christian House of Praise, 5110 Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave. N.E. on Tuesday, November 3 from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.www.stewartfuneralhome.com

Its still hard to believe the strongest woman I know is not here on earth with me. My biggest supporter. It warmed my heart to hear you say how proud you were of me everytime we talked or hearing one of your many stories that kept you laughing. You were more than a grandma you were a friend. To say Im going to miss you is beyond an understatement. I love you more than words can express. Just know everything I do is for you so I'll continue to make you proud I promise. So just rest now everything will be okay.
