Of Fort Washington, MD, an Associate Director of Parks and Property of DC Parks and Recreation Department, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2003. He was the beloved husband of Theresa Anne Dockery; devoted father of Arnecia Nicole Dockery, Patti Cheryl Parks, and the late Tiffany Maria Dockery; loving grandfather of Alexis Nicole Dockery. Also survived by his parents, Martha Harrison Dockery of Durham, NC and Arthur Dockery, Sr. of Chapel Hill, NC; two sisters, Effie Lorraine Dockery and Gloria Dockery, both of Durham, NC; one brother, Jack Harrison of Durham, NC; mother-in-law, Helen B. Frazier; eight sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law, three aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, May 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Breath of Life Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11310 Ft. Washington Rd., Ft. Washington, MD, where services will follow on Wednesday, May 28 at 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Suitland, MD. Services by POPE.
