Dear Don - We were very saddened to hear the news of Char. She was an integral part of the Naval Command College program during my four years on the staff. She was a caring loving teacher who made a big impact on the lives of the NCC families. Char always had a smile on her face and her enthusiasm was infectious. She was a lovely lady and we will miss her a lot.

Our hearts are heavy with sorrow, for our family has lost one of its brightest stars. We will cherish our precious memories of Char forever. Don and family, we pray that the Lord comfort and console you at this heartbreaking time.

All the sisters here at the Carmel in Barrington extend to Char's family our deepest sympathy at this time of your great sorrow. We rejoice with Char that she has won the victory over sickness and death and is now with the God she loved and served so well. Char is a very special woman and touched many lives. I so well remember her gentle way even though she carried a heavy burden of sickness. Her thoughtfulness of others was outstanding and I personally am thankful for the opportunity to visit her in her beautiful home and thank her for her goodness to our Sister Beth. Please know that we will unite with you on Monday as you celebrate Char's life and her entrance into eternal life. May our Tender God strengthen each member of the family. You are all in our hearts and prayer.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to each of the family. The community of St. Barnabas will be offering masses for Char and for the family. Char was a delight...so considerate so humorous...a gift to so many. God Bless
