David Croyder Obituary



CROYDER DAVID W. CROYDER Born November 30, 1959 Died July 11, 2009 DAVID W. CROYDER, 49, passed away on July 11, 2009 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous five year struggle with appendiceal cancer. David grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and graduated from Walt Whitman High School in 1978. In 1983, he graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Business Administration. He received a master''s degree in Business and Finance from Georgia State University in 1996. David enjoyed a management career with Mariott Hotels and, most recently, as a finance manager at the Home Depot headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. He was an athlete and avid sports fan. David was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was a pillar of strength to all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette N. Croyder; his sons, Trevor and Blake; his parents, Elinore and David Croyder; and his sisters, Leslie Linde, Amy Croyder Bahns, Harriet Buchholz and Mary Page Croyder. Funeral services, celebrating David''s life were held on July 15, 2009 in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, David''s familty suggest donations to the Atlanta Humane Society: 981 Howell Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30318, (404) 875-5331 or St. Jude''s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
