Survived by her daughter, Jillian Monique Simons; her parents, Nadine and Elton King; her sisters, Karla Yvette and Melanie Patrice King; many other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 27, from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m., at Transfiguration Episcopal Church, 13925 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD. Interment Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by McGUIRE.

Mr. Elton King and Family, words are so very difficult at this time. I wish I were there to personally offer my condolences. Dawn's kindness, voice and smile will remain with me always. I know she is in a better place and at peace.
