Although I posted an entry right after Deb passed away, I feel the need to express my feelings again. It has been almost 3 weeks since she left this world but my thoughts are still constantly about my neighbor and good friend. The door to my condo unit is just a few steps from where Deb lived so I think of her daily when I walk by her door. I've never known anyone as strong as Deb. She bore her pain and suffering for years without complaining. I pray that her parents, siblings and other family and friends will find some peace knowing that Deb touched so many people's lives. She is greatly missed!

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with The Lord.

Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Debora was truly a jewel. Our thoughts are with the McGee family during this difficult time.

I want to send my heart-felt sympathy to Mr. & Mrs. McGee and Deb's other family members. As her closest neighbor, I saw Deb often and will miss her gorgeous smile, as well as that great laugh she had. Deb was a wonderful, fun person who showed me what it means to love life, even while she was so ill. She was devoted to her cat, Mufasa, but she also loved my dog, Sophie. She even had an endearing nickname for my dog, calling her "Sweet Face." Also, Deb was the only person I knew who loved movies as much as I do, but she never could get me to like the spicy food that she was crazy about. I know Deb had countless people in her life who adored her. I'm just glad that I had 9 years of being her neighbor and friend. I loved Deb and will really miss her terribly.
