DENNIS DAY LEIGH
Dennis Day Leigh, 73, passed away on January 22, 2015 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dennis was born on April 7, 1941 in Richmond, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Edmonds and William Henry Leigh, III; wife, Jeanette Stallings Leigh; daughter, Donna Leigh Holder; brother, Joseph Guthrie Edmonds; sister, Florence Edmonds Graves; sister-in-law, Laurette Hewlette and brother-in-law, Clifford Hewlette. He leaves to cherish in loving memory, two daughtes, Denise Jennifer Taylor (Clayton Taylor) and Adrienne Leigh; grandchildren, Tijer, London, Graham and Carmenn; sister, Virginia Leigh Scruggs; brothers-in-law, John "JB", Nathan, Kenneth and Gregory Stallings; sister-in-law, Vivian Stallings, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Dennis was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church. Family and friends will honor his memory in service during a "Celebration of Dennis' Life" at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 1601 South 13th Road, Arlington, VA.

Dennis was my Father on Sunday's for Cowboys games for 12 years after my Father passed away two years ago. His knowledge and advice through my hard times is irreplaceable. R.I.P. Cowboy Dennis. That Championship is coming back to Dallas.
