"Dottie", Of Manassas Park, VA formerly of Apollo Beach, FL and Vienna, VA passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2006.
Dottie was born May 14, 1933 in White Sulphur Springs, WV and moved to the Washington area in the 1950's. She was employed by Vega Precision Laboratories in Vienna, VA from 1965 to 1981.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Forest Everette and Katie Stella Sawyers Foster; and her husband, Joseph E. Wilson in 2004.
She is survived by her five children, Sheryl Coury of West Palm Beach, FL, Paul Coury and wife Pam of Clifton, VA, Patty Coury Hill and husband Les of Gainesville, VA, Joanie Frew and husband James of Nokesville, VA, and Jeanie Walters and husband Leo of Gainesville, VA; four sisters, Jan Asay and husband Jesse, Maxine Carmoney and husband Dr. Walter, Betty Snellings and husband Don and Ina Llewellyn and husband Tom; one brother, Forest Foster and wife Betty; ten grandchildren, Bryan Coury, Karli Coury, Chelsea Coury, Sage Coury, Tiffany Walters, Jessie Glorius, Brandi Walters, Zack Heim, Troy Frew and Shelli Frew; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2006 at PIERCE-PRICE FUNERAL HOME, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, where funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2006 with Bishop Kelly Haws officiating. Interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers, or contributions to The American Cancer Society, 124 Park St., S.E., Vienna, VA 22180 in memory of Dorothy Wilson.
