Edward Mansfield

Edward Patrick Mansfield passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023. He was born on October 29, 1947 in Warren, Pennsylvania. He resided in Riva, MD for over 40 years. Ed was the Advertising Director of the Washingtonian Magazine. He served as Chairman on the Board of Directors for Columbian Lighthouse for the Blind. Ed leaves behind Norma, his wife of 52 years. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ed's ashes are to be interred in Warren, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA of Anne Arundel County, Charter Senior Living of Annapolis Activities Fund, or the Philip Merrill Environmental Center (Annapolis, MD) Online condolences may be made at:

Mrs. Mansfield, please accept my deepest sorrows. Ed and I were work neighbors at 1828 L Street, when Independent Sector shared the building. He was a GREAT mentor to me! I was in my young 20's then and being a "New Yorker" he know I could take his constructive comments/observations. He was a dear man, and a wonder friend. Again my condolences. PMG
