On Monday, August 22, 2022, GERALD H. FINK, M.D. of Potomac, MD. A dedicated psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, he worked to help patients until his death. Beloved husband of Jo Anne Fink. Devoted father of Debra Demar, Julie Sullivan, Steven Fink, Wendy Leonard and Erica Brown. Loving grandfather of eleven. Funeral services private. My apologies for this belated message, but I just wanted to express my deepest condolences to the whole Fink family. Having had the opportunity to know Gerry, and spend many a Passover with the family, I truly enjoyed his quick wit, immense kindness, and strategic hiding of the afikomen. I am forever grateful for being included in this wonderful family.

It was very sad to hear that my dad, Dr. Gerald H. Fink had passed away in his house in Potomac, Maryland, Monday, Aug 22. He was always there for me growing up in St Louis Park, Minneapolis, Minnesota and then Silver Spring, White Oak Maryland area, along with my 3 other siblings; 2 sisters and a brother. Each of us were asked to speak at the cemetery podium about dad which had to be very informative, inspiring, creative, and well spoken from our hearts on Sunday, Sept 4th, 2022. Everyone attending dad's funeral, both family and friends learned a lot about dad during our personal versions of him as we remember him and his positive impacts he had on me and my siblings, now all adults. I had to read my eulogy first as the eldest. The outside service on the cemetery grounds was very professional and sad at the same time. All his adult kids were there, their respective spouses, and most of his 11 grand children were there, and other family members and friends were there at the Funeral service as well. Very sad weekend. Rest in peace dad. Love Debbie.

Jerry and I go back some 60 years and enjoyed working together over that period of time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
