Glenda Clark Obituary

CLARK

GLENDA CLARK

Glenda "Ginger" Clark beloved mother and friend passed away March 29, 2022 at the age of 80 in Reston VA. A gypsy at heart she lived a number of places from Alma, GA to New York City to Chicago to Washington, DC to Wilmington, NC. She loved to travel, meet new people and try new things. Italy was her favorite destination, particularly because Ginger loved design, architecture and good food. She was a self-described gym rat - running, cycling, teaching aerobics and weight lifting for many years. She trained with Mr. Universe at one point and judged body-building competitions. Later in life it was her love of Zumba that kept her active and social. She was an animal lover and "a regular" at the dog parks in North Carolina where she made many dear 2-legged and 4-legged friends. She was a petite woman but her generous spirit and bold fashion sense made her larger than life. She is survived by her children, Jill, David, Lauren, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and will be missed by dog daughter Sophie. Private celebration of life.
