Always respected the man and his accomplishments. Was a privilege to assist him while in school to learn his techniques. To this day the expression "then you really start to sweat" resonates in my mind any time I break off a root tip..Rest in peace Dr. Kruger...

It was an honor to have been a resident in the Georgetown Oral Surgery Program in the early 1970's. Dr. Kruger was truly a thoughtful and humble teacher. The profession has lost one of its great early leaders. His Textbook of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery set the standard for its day, and I still refer to it when teaching dental residents. Condolences to the family on their loss.

Hi....Dr. Kruger used my services as a Realtor a number of years ago. It was my pleasure to meet such an interesting human being and to have had the opportunity to interact with him. I was not aware of his professional accomplishments...but learning of them now, I see how it fit the man that he was.
Sorry for your loss.

It was an honor to have known Dr. Gus Kruger. He taught my father in dental school, worked with my father at Georgetown Dental and taught me as a dental student. I still cherish his book which he so graciously signed for me. Forever etched in my mind is the memory of a leader, educator, innovator and thoughtful man. God Bless.
