JAMES K. MARSH, M.D.  
On July 21, 2016, Dr. James Kylor Marsh, 55, died peacefully at his home in the District of Columbia after a four-year progression of cancer. Dr. Marsh was an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Director of the Student Health Center of Georgetown University, where he directed the medical care of over 18,000 Georgetown students for the past 20 years.He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Ann Snow; children Samantha and Benjamin Marsh; sisters Lynn Marsh Freeman, Patricia Marsh Dehoorne and Julia Marsh Brown and their families, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Peter''s Catholic Church, 313 2nd St., SE, Washington, DC. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Saturday, July 30, 2016 also at St. Peter''s Church.Contributions in memory of Dr. Marsh may be made to the National Cancer Institute at NIH; Lombardi Cancer Center-Georgetown University Hospital; Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington; Catholic Relief Services; or S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat).
