Dear Uncle Walter,
Our sincerest sympathy goes out to you, and your children at this difficult time. Paul and I have very fond memories of Janet. When I called from Virginia and wanted to meet the (Maryland)Nelson family. She was there to greet us with open arms. She made us feel so welcome. I spoke with her just a few short days before she past and she was so glad to hear from me. We spoke about my two girls,Paul and the (Boston) Nelson's. She didn't want to dwell on her sickness but wanted me to share some fun stories with her. I will miss speaking with her. In losing my brother last year I know how important it is to remember all of the fun and happy times you both shared . I hope that Paul and I share as many happy years together as you and Janet did. We all send our love to you and the children..
Love,
Christine and Paul DeFilippo

I just read the obituary and want to tell you how much I loved Janet and she will be missed! Sorry I cannot be there, but please be sure all of you will be in my thoughts!
It was a shock for me to hear the news since I had not spoken to Janet for quite a while.
Lots of love to all of you, Kerstin
