Not sure what to say?

October 7, 2009

My friend, your guest book signs off for good tomorrow. I want you to know that it was wonderful to be your friend and you will always remain alive in all the memories and always in our thoughts. Watch down on everyone who ever had the joy of knowing you and keep your heart with your family. I can just see you having the time of your life in heaven where everything is always wonderful.

See you on the other side and it will be a blast.

I,m home tonight this Septembers eve.
My minds in a spin, what to take, what to leave. True friends and family are here by my side, as I pick and I choose while inside I cry. With but a few in my corner, I,ll fight till it,s done. My memories holding what we once had as one.

Me.

September 14, 2009

I wonder if all is said and done, I sit here now as only one. There is a future that I see, unfortunately it includes only me. The race for me begins again.
With a starting line that seems very thin. But as the crowd gathers to watch the start, get ready because I have the heart. The last laugh will be mine, because I,m a survivor and I,ll be fine.

January 11, 2009

The new year is here and you sit alone.
Praying for god to ring that phone. You pray for a minute to speak your mind.
To talk with Jeff just one more time.
Just a question or two that you would like to ask.
But, knowing Jeff as we do I,m sure he'd pass.
Let's talk about you with this short time line.
I need to know that you are fine.
I left you to soon as our love had grown.
What was of importance, only to us was known.
So as our voices grow silent and our feelings fade.
I,ll be by your side, at that favorite spot we called our shade.

To Doris our friend forever.

When a man leaves his boy, the boy becomes a man. He may not be ready to make this heartsick stand.
These shoes he fills have not one soul but many lives and many goals.
So stand tall boy and walk with pride cause all will judge, doe's he have that stride.

My friend enters a world he has never seen with a unnatural nack to earn some green. After many months he walked tall with a roll.
Only to find there is no toll.
Now this is awkward says my friend.
Finally a place I don't have to pay, to get in.

The celeration of Halloween has come and gone without you. This is the first of many to come and it just isn't right. It's quiet without you here. Although I know your presence is with all of us, our world is so different with you gone.

When the Lord made his decision to call you home it was his way of showing us...he only takes the best! You are an Angel for so many now. Watch over each and everyone and more importantly your lovely family. Miss you alot.

October 14, 2008

Jeff, it's been 41 days since you were called to heaven and given the special honor to watch over your family and friends. All, who miss you so much. The world seems so quiet without you, the absence of your laugh and your presence is unbelievable. Touch them and protect them in all the days to come, for they have so many friends to comfort them and help their hearts try to find a way to heal. You left everyone you knew with a lifetime of memories and laughs, you will never be forgotten and forever missed.

Jeff was one of those guys that made work fun. He knew everthing about roofing and construction and I could always rely on him to give me the best advice and provide me the best work. We became good friends over our 15 years of working together and sipping beers ar JR's after work. I will miss him dearly. Jeffery you have some big shoes to fill, but I look forward to working with you and for you to carry on the business your father started. My deepest sympathies to the entire Thomas family for your immense loss. See you on the other side, Jeff. It's good to know I'll have a friend like you there. Kevin

How sad to hear of Jeff passing so young! He was a great friend and co worker when I lived in Virginia.

over the years. I will never forget Billy calling him his "Little Buddy".
