To the Barr Family,
Joe and I were friends, classmates, and frat brothers at Tuskegee, and kept in touch periodically. We just spent time together at the Omega's 100th anniversary in DC. And, my family and I have spent time with him and his wife on the Do-Jo II. We have many happy memories, and that you will not be forgotten. Please know that you have my sincerest sympathy. RIP Joe....

To the family, I regret the passing of your love one and a friend to many. Whenever Dr. Barr could give a helping hand he would. He is with our Heavenly Father, no more pain, no more suffering. Be as strong as you can be. My prayers are with you.
