Judith Schwadron Obituary

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, JUDITH BARBARA SCHWADRON of Bethesda, MD. Devoted mother of Margot (the late Todd Miller) Schwadron, Paula (Mitchell) Gendel and Suzanne (Michael) Selzer. Loving grandmother of Hannah and Marti Gendel, Madeleine Miller and Danielle and Jeremy Selzer. Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 37 years, Martin P. Schwadron. Judy's family is grateful for the loving care she received at Sunrise Bethesda. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, 10 a.m. at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. After the interment, Shiva will be observed at the residence of Margot Schwadron and on Sunday and Monday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. both days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Simon Wiesenthal Center, https://wiesenthal.org or to Hillel International, https://www.hillel.org. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.

I have always admired Judy for her grace, beauty, warmth, and class, and have fond memories of her from the time I was a child. She and my father were second or third cousins. My sincere condolences to all the Schwadron daughters and their families.
