Lilliana Joy Kishore  (Age 21)  
Returned to heaven on June 23, 2021, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her parents, Rohit and Malia Kishore, her brother, Ben Kishore, her grandparents, Ben and Donna Simon, her uncles, aunts and cousins, Aric and Lara Holsinger, Sophie, Annabeth and Samantha Holsinger and Rahul, Vandna and Simran Kishore, as well as friends, teammates and two silly pets. Lilly was a kind person who loved unconditionally and really believed that every day was a new chance to brighten someone's day. A graduate of the Connelly School of the Holy Child and Skidmore College, Lilly's guiding principles were love and service. She was a tireless volunteer serving the homeless, animals and underserved youth. She spent a significant amount of time in Haiti, working with the children and teachers and creating culturally appropriate learning materials. She volunteered for Bronx Lacrosse as a tutor and mentor for underserved youth and even began an on-line yoga program for them. Lilly became a blood donor at 16 in memory of a beloved friend. We will miss this sweet and strong, silly girl and devoted daughter, sister, cousin and friend. Rest easy my girl, you made the world a better place every day and taught us to try to do the same. In lieu of flowers you may honor Lilly by donating blood or by giving to the Community Coalition for Haiti; those funds will be used for medical supplies and training for the Haitian doctors and nurses who work to benefit the children in the schools where Lilly worked. Visitation on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Mass at Saint Thomas �� Becket Catholic Church, 1421 Wiehle Ave., Reston, VA 20190.
