Devoted husband of the late Catherine Butler; beloved father of Deborah Butler and Louis Butler, Jr. Also survived by mother, Mary Greenfield Butler; two brothers, Oscar Jerome and Lawrence Edward Butler; three sisters, Edith Marie Thompson, Mary Alice Bell and Mary Francine McLean; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The late Mr. Butler will lie in state on Monday, October 7 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bryanstown, MD. Interment church cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., Aquasco, MD.
