My dearly Madeline with her smile and the simpleness of her conduct was something that make us, Keith and I so comfortable. since I met Madeline she was allways the same happy and quite hospitable with us and in moments like you can't help but to re remember and treareasure the love that we shared. She will live in our hearts and memories with a smile in our faces, even if our hearts ache, and remembering how she make us feel. But now we know that Madeline left this earth knowing that she was greatly love and that her time had come and she left in peace.

I could never explain how much I cared for Madeline. She was my best friend. I miss her so much. She was always there for me. She was more helpful to me in more ways than I could explain. I am so sad. I think of her constantly and miss her so much.Love, Claire Bloom

Rest in Peace dear cousin Madeline. I have known you all of my life and will always remember the good times like.....you being a bridesmaid in my wedding, the many family gatherings, your articulate and witty nature just to name a few. Liz, you know Madeline was a strong and courageous woman...especially these last few months. I pray that the love you two shared will sustain you during the difficult days and remember 2 Corinthians 5:1 says...."For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands eternal in the heavens." Peace and love to you Liz and please let me know if I can help you in some way.

Flowers that Bloom in Winter

40 years ago, I met my cousin for the first time while on leave in the U.S. Navy. She impressed me greatly in that she was delightful, thoughtful, hospitable, caring person. I observed at that time that She did not let the pain of life rob her of her humaneness, and ability to love. I thank God that our paths crossed at a critical time in my life when I needed to witness as I saw demonstrated her life; that flowers can still bloom in the winter and that it's sweet fragrance need not be suppressed by the unexpected and unforeseen cold windy blasts that confront us in life. Our prayers rise for the family that God will comfort us all in our time of loss.

Liz: It is not hard to imagine the depth of loss of Madeline's physical presence. As you both helped me on my healing journey through the loss of my beloved mother, thinking of Mom provides a constant reminder of the undying love she shared with Madeline and you. One of Madeline's characteristics that warms my spirit today is Madeline's giant laugh, slightly smaller chuckle, and beautiful bright smile. With your help, we were able to make a surprise visit last year for her birthday. I don't think I've ever received an embrace so tight! She was 100% delighted by our surprise...and the chocolate desserts we brought for her. Not many people in life feel so deeply. That memory still makes my heart melt. But there are 100's of joy-filled memories to recall -- again and again. And it is these recollections that will provide the best source of strength, the best source of courage to look toward each tomorrow as a new opportunity to cherish your love together. Remember Liz, Love conquers all!

My sincerest sympathies to Liz in the loss of Madeline. Madeline helped me with a legal issue from beginning to end; she was my partner in planning our Senior Fit Instructor's Birthday celebration for the past several years and was there as a friend. She is truly missed and just one of those people who cannot be replaced because of her generosity and suaveness.
That is such a great picture of her. I will always remember that smile.
