These last two years I had the great privilege of bringing Holy Communion to Marian and praying with her at Cherrydale. She remains an inspiration.

"Remember my last name by breaking it into 2 parts...Jan-Ski and then it will not be a problem to spell it." she told this to the kids who would have her for a counselor. It worked; they always knew how to spell her name. The best times I remember were talking to Marian at after school parties at the homes of Pat Pope and R.C Fields. The faculty at Williamsburg Jr High had great unity of purpose whether we were at school working w/ the kids or after school enjoying the company of colleagues...Marian was FUN!!!

For years Marian faithfully attended our retired teachers meetings. We have missed her since she could no longer get there. Deepest sympathy to her family and dear friends.
