Aunt Mary I know that me, Lawrence, Tynetta, K'shawn, Delmonte, Denzel, Jeremiah and Johniece will truly miss you. Out of all of my babies Lawrence and K'shawn took your passing away hard. You were good to me and my children. You were a mother to my mother Jennifer and I thank God that you was there for her. I can't even express how much you will be missed. You had so much love in your heart for everyone. And I believe that if you were still here you would tell people get ready for a train is coming. And those who do not know the Lord need to find out who HE is so they can live again and see your beautiful face Auntie. God has truly been Good to you. Just to let you know auntie that I'm taking real good care of Disel and he is home sick, but he is doing well. Family I pray that whatever it my be if you do not know the Lord, please get to know him before it's to late. I love you Aunt Mary and you will truly be missed. I want to thank the family for letting me sing at your homecoming. From Tynetta, Lawrence, K'shawn, Tyrell, Delmonte, Denzel, Jeremiah, Johniece, and LOVEY!! We miss you.

My prayers are with you -- Your Grand Mother was indeed someone "Very Special"
She was the center of your family as she should be -- She also was a very strong woman.
If you and the rest of her children are anything like she was, you will be just fine.
"Let patience have her perfect work and you will be complete wanting nothing"
James 1:1 -4
Just keep a big SMILE on your face for that is what she gave to everyone that came in her presence.
I often smile within when I saw her and watched you talk about her. Hearing her talk was always a pleasure She really knew how to phrase things her way - smile. She knew how to have a great time and keep everyone in their place, and that's how I will always remember her.

Dear Grandma,
Me, Niya, Nataya, and Thomas MISS YOU SO MUCH. Grandma Niya told me about 2 weeks ago that you were not dead and I do belive that you are still here. Grandma I know how you are and how much you care about your family. Your still here cause you worry about us toooooo much to leave us. Its like you had to know at all times what was going on. So I know your still here even thought we can't see you! Grandma I remember when people use to make fun of me cause everytime they saw me they knew I was going to my grandma's house. (Alllllll the time) but little did they know there was always something going on at Grandma's. I really do miss you fussing with me about any and everything. Also I just miss hearing your voice. Grandma I really don't think anyone outside of our family really knows how BIG of a chunk is missing in all of our hearts now that your gone. You was everyones EVERYTHING not just ours we couldn't help it. You grew on everyone.
I love you and miss you so. Im also glad to of had the experiences I had with you.
We Love you NIYA, NATAYA, SARAH, and THOMAS.

Grandma, Grandma, Grandma I am at a lost of words. I don't know what else to say but ME, Tyra, Tatiana, Rashaad & Jamiah MISS YOU SOOOOO MUCH! I miss you yelling on my answering machine. Calling me every Saturday telling me to bring Shawn to your house or that you were on your way to come and pick him up. Fussing at me because I didn't cook dinner. I really can't believe that you left me like this. I thought for sure that you were going to stay around for my wedding. I thought we had that agreement. But I knew that I was being selfish. I knew that you were in pain even though you would say you weren't and as independant as you are and have taught us to be I knew in my heart that you didn't like depending on nobody. I just couldn't get the thought passed my mind that I would have to live my life without you. I thought you would be around for my children when they got a little older. Rashaad misses you SO MUCH. There was no love like Grandma's love to him. He asks about you everyday asking me if you are going to wake up and come back. Asking me if he can go to the church to see you. Sometimes I have to tell him to be quiet. Somedays all day long I can smell you and tears come to my eyes. Words just can't explain how much we miss you and wish so much in our hearts that you were still here. But I know that God had a better plan for you. I LOVE YOU GRANDMOTHER! (Your the end of the Rainbow my pot of gold, your my sugar and my spice and your everything nice and your mine all MINE!)

Mother Mary I know that you have entered into the Kingdom of Heaven but are you still watching over us? We didn't have anything while growing up except our Mother's love. You asked everyone else why did your children cry so much? The reason was none of us ever wanted to be without you. We wanted you to go to school and camp with us. We will always love you so. I am so glad you were my Mother. You taught me how to love and care for my children, and I hope to pass that on the them. I am so thankful that you didn't suffer Mother. I am so sorry that God took you away from me. God has a greater plan for us all and none of us here on earth can see his big picture. May we all meet again in heaven. There are no words that can describe my love for you Mother. You not only took care of your children, but you had neighbor hood kids crying to be with you too. Watch over your children, all of us who you love so much and we shall see you soon. You are truley one in a million and will are missed dearly. We know you'll be watching us. To my family, "Let not your hearts be trouble, ye believe in God, believe also in me..." Earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot heal! Be encouraged in knowing that Aunt Mary has left a dynamic legacy behind. She was one of the most generous and kind women anyone could ever know. PeeWee, Betty, Muscles, Cookie, AJ, John and the grandchildren (cousins I don't know). Jesus loves you all and so do I. He came that YOU might have life and that more abundantly. You will continue to be in my prayers. I know there's nothing like a mother's love; a love which will forever be in each of your hearts. Seek the Lord will He may be found and allow Him to fill that void. Hold on to the fond memories and look toward the hills from which cometh your help! Your help comes from the Lord. God bless you all!
