I am so sorry to hear that Mary has left us so soon. She and I worked together for more than 5 years, and I really knew her to be a good friend and colleague. I am sorry that she did not get more time to enjoy her retirement. My sincerest sympathies for her family.

Lisa & Family, I was sadden to hear the passing of your mother, wife, and grandmother. It's hard to cope when a loved one is no longer here on earth physically, but remember she is here with you all spiritually. She is home with the Lord now & looking over you all. May GOD bless you all during this time.

To Mary's family:
I worked with Mary for many years. She always shared a smile and a pleasant thought for the day. As someone else has mentioned in the guest book, she beamed when she spoke about her family. She often talked about her daughter and husband, and when she was blessed with a grandchild, she beamed even more. Mary taught us all the true meaning of friendship and family. May God be with you during this difficult time.

When I began working with the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, in 1985, Mary was one of the first, and most friendliest people that I met. We had grown to become good friends over the past years. Even though Mary could be comical, at times, she was rather quiet, reserved, respectable, and did not involve herself in non-sensical situations. One always knew where Mary stood because she said what she meant. Before she retired, she would come to our office everyday, during lunch, to watch the "stories" with Bea. Whenever I asked her how her family was doing, especially her grandson, she just beamed with love and enthusiam. I missed her after she retired, and I will miss her now even more. While I feel that I've lost a very good friend, I remind myself that she's not gone--she's just changed residence.

Now I am lost for words. "Bye Ms. Mary, rest in peace. I will remember you always.

To the Family of my dear friend Mary,
On December 2, 2005, Mary and I retired along with several other good friends from the Department of Commerce. I am devastated to learn of her death but I’m glad to know that she was able to relax and enjoy a few days. May our belief that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comfort you and ease the pain that is tearing at your hearts. Darlene Williams
