On April 21, 2003, lifetime resident of the Washington, DC area. Beloved son of the late Richard and Josephine Simkins and brother of the late Richard Simkins. He is survived by his loving sister, Kathleen Gary; three nephews, two nieces, and 11 great-nephews and nieces. Memorial Mass on Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at The Sacred Heart Chapel, Bowie, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
