On Monday, July 28, 2014, husband of Julia, the late Kathleen and Margaret Goad; loving father of Gary Bruce (Becky) Goad, Peggy Ann (Jon) Boursaw, Patricia Karen (Steve) Bull, and the late Paul Goad; brother of Alfred Goad, and the late Helen Giddings and Roger Goad. Also survived by 11 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren and two stepdaughters. Relatives and friends may call at Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, MD on Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, 12 noon. Interment St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037.www.borgwardtfuneralhome.com
