Pamela Lyons Obituary

Pamela Ann (Dorman) Lyons of Whispering Pines, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at her daughter's home in Burke, Virginia.
Pam was born May 31, 1947, in Spring Lake, Kentucky to the late Paul Douglas Dorman and Billie (Singleton) Dorman. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in education.
Pam was surrounded by her loving extended family during her early years in Spring Lake, Kentucky. Her brothers, Mike and Denis, and cousins, Cheryl and Pat were her first best friends. Their pranks and escapades were legendary.
Pam married the love of her life, Jack Lyons, in December 1988. The planned small family wedding grew in numbers as so many people wanted to be part of their day. They ultimately retired to their beautiful dream home, on a lake and near a golf course. Their 33 years of marriage was filled with family trips and events, spoiling grandchildren, traveling around the world, and many beloved pets.
She is survived by two children, Kristin Denise Rever (Brian) of Burke, VA, and Brian Douglas Pratt (Jeanne), of Sunnyside, NY; her brother, Denise Dorman (Dianne), Beattyville, KY, and many nieces and nephews.
Pam will always be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and a doting grandmother who cherished her five grandchildren, Delaney, Jack, and Kelsey Rever, and Sawyer and Greyson Pratt.
A graveside service will be held at a future date at Arlington National Cemetery.
