PETER PERRY Obituary
PETER GAYLORD PERRY (Age 63)
Of Rockville, MD passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 after a long fight with Non-Hodgkin''s Lymphoma. Peter passed peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home. Peter was born on December 31 1951 to Gaylord and Anne (McHallick) Perry in Utica, NY. He attended and graduated from New Hartford, NY Schools in 1970 and continued to earn his BS in Civil Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY in 1974. Upon graduation, Peter married his high school sweetheart in Hartford, NY that same year and moved to Maryland for his first job in Civil Engineering. Peter continued his education at George Washington earning his Masters in Structural Engineering. Peter was known as a gentle giant sincerely loved by everyone. He created "Perry humor," and lived for his five grandchildren. Peter was preceded in death by Gaylord Perry and is survived by his wife, Raquel Perry; mother, Anne Perry; sister, Gay Anne Burch; and his three children, Josh Perry, Raquel Shutt and Alex Perry. Peter had seven nieces and nephews and five grandchildren. God Bless it! Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by Mass at St. Mary''s Church in Rockville on Tuesday, December 15. Memorial donations may be made to Montgomery Hospice.

When ever we saw one another, while catching up, we never missed the chance to talk about our wives and families. Great sense of humor and found ourselves laughing a lot. Peter was a good man that I will miss. God Bless you Raquel, and your family...

Raquel, I am so sorry for your loss! I have so many memories of fun times with you and Peter in our youth; fishing, celebrations of his birthday and New Years, your wedding... Peter was such a kind, caring man who loved you so! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
