I am 42 years old and he was my dentist throughout my whole childhood, and I had many issues with my teeth, he made me laugh and smile and actually made it a fun thing to go to the appointments. Even when I reached my twenties and had an issue he still would see me (until I eventually moved out of state) and draw characters with the water spray and sing loudly while he checked me. Amazing man I will never forget.❤

I too am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Sears. I first took my special needs child to his practice when unable to find a dentist that could work effectively and efficiently with my son. With his warm personality and easy nature he was able to gain my son's trust and cooperation. Dr. Sears saw us through needed teeth extractions, braces, and general dental care and maintenance. I will be forever grateful for his understanding of the need to help my son have fewer issues to contend with in his already compromised life. As my son has reminded me, "Dr. Sears has gone to heaven". May he rest in peace.

Our family's thoughts and prayers go out to you. Dr. Sears made going to the dentist enjoyable! He was so light hearted and fun, yet very compassionate towards his patients. So sweet with my son when he began seeing him as a tot (he is now 14). Dr. Sears will be greatly missed.

Too soon to lose such a special man. There was never a dull moment with him. He fixed my TMJ and I've been fine ever since and that was over 20 years ago. He was also a friend of my husband's. God bless all the Sear's family. He was a treasure!

A special man. He took good care of my kids always putting them at ease. He was light-hearted and fun but serious when necessary, Although he was casual in style he was sensitive and competent. When he told me of his illness the first thing on his mind was what would happen to his special needs kids.Rest in Peace, Doc. I hope there is a drum kit for you to play.

We go back 35 years with Bobby. He was our 3 kids dentist for regular checkups, teeth pulling and braces until they "aged" out. As adults they remember him for making going to the dentist such a fun experience. Dressing up in tutus, his many hats, squirting Walt Disney characters on the carpeting, the treasure chest and his exuberant personality all contributed to his fabulous rapport with children. We will miss him.

We adore Dr. Sears. He was so wonderful with our son who has special needs. There were often other kids with special needs in his office and their parents and I shared a bond of gratitude that we had found such a wonderful dentist for our kids. We will miss him deeply.

Dr. Sears was wonderful. Trips to his office were a little bit like a party, my kids never knew what to make of it. He took care of the 3 of them for 14 years. Once, when it was my middle one's birthday, he had the staff break out the instruments. Oh, and the singing! He will be so very missed.

All, very sorry to read about Bobby's passing. We're glad that we got to see him last June at Spencer's wedding. Rob met him in Silver Spring MD after his first year in college and always enjoyed talking about current events and family.
